Wisconsin Dells Wilderness Resort

The Wilderness Resort in Wisconsin Dells is a huge resort with more indoor and outdoor waterparks than any other resort worldwide. The rooms are accommodating and warm. As soon as you enter the lobby, you are greeted with things to do as soon as you check in at the reservation desk.

Indoor Waterparks

The Klondike Kavern waterpark is where you will fine the kiddie pool, hot tub, waterslides and the Hurricane, which will give you a thrilling ride through a winding waterslide. Walk through the Klondike to get to the Wild Water Dome wave pool, where every 10 minutes that fun starts with big waves bouncing you around in the water. At the Wild West, you can ride the bumper boats and waterslides. Cubby's Cove is where all the little ones will have fun with the spray features and mini slides.

Outdoor Waterparks

Outdoor waterparks are open during the seasonal months. The Lost World is where you will find the Adventure River that takes you on a ride down the lazy river and over the rapids. Lake Wilderness is like a little community where you will find a lazy river, rage tube waterslide and a body rage waterslide. The New Frontier has the fastest body waterslide called the Timber Falls and a kiddie's area called Bear Foot Island. Wilderness on the Lake Cubbies Cove is where you can unwind while basking in the infinity pool while the kids play in the spray pool.

Indoor Attractions

Indoors, you can enjoy Northern Lights Arcade, Timberland play park, the Wild Abyss and the Wild Buccaneers. There are pottery classes, candy stores, cappuccinos cafes and many restaurants and bars. During October, the resort has a huge haunted house with day hours for the little ones and night hours for teens and adults. Every season brings a new experience.

Outdoor Attractions

Outside you can play mini golf, ride the go-karts and just ride the free shuttle around the grounds to see how large the waterpark community is or take a horse drawn carriage ride. The golf course is open for guests of the Wilderness resort and looks out over Lake Dalton.

Tips

Ho Chunk Casino is just four blocks away and a shuttle will pick up guests and drop them off at the casino. Domino's Pizza, which is across the street, has delivery service to any area of the resort. If you stay on the second floor, you can walk through the entire hotel to the waterparks, stores, bars, cafés, and arcades. It does take about 2 hours to see the entire hotel and resort if you walk fast.
