Fair Park in South Dallas is a great place to visit. There is much to see here. You can go to the Texas Museum of Automotive History which has exhibits of cars from 1901 to the present day. The children love the Children's Aquarium. You will also Be able to see Big Tex who made his first appearance at the State Fair in 1952. He is huge.

Woodward Park is Tulsa's most popular tourist attraction. The park is beautiful. You can visit the azalea garden which has over 15,000 azaleas. You can check out the rose garden with its over 9,000 roses. Visit the park from May to November and you will see the roses in bloom and it is a beautiful site. Christiana is a small borough on the Lancaster side of the Lancaster/Chester County border. The town, at various times in its history, had been an active busy community. When the Philadelphia & Columbia Railroad stopped in town there were many industries that sprung up. While many of the businesses have closed or relocated, the community is still very active and close-knit.

Merritt Island in Florida is a great place to visit. You can go to the Kennedy Space Center. There is so much here to see. You can take a bus tour of the center that is great. The Rocket Center has many great displays. The Apollo-Saturn V Center is a large museum that is built around a restored Saturn V.

Atlanta has so many parks it could be called park city. Atlanta's parks are great. You can take a trip to the Centennial Olympic Park that was built when Atlanta hosted the Summer Olympics. Stone Mountain Park is a great place for a family vacation. If you like amusement parks you can visit Six Flags over Georgia. It is a great fun place for children.

Fort Lauderdale, Florida is a great place to vacation at. There is so much to do here. There is great shopping and restaurants to eat at. You can visit the Everglade National Park and if you like camping you can do that here. You must visit the Butterfly World when you are in Fort Lauderdale as it is great.

The Space Needle was built in Seattle, Washington for the 1962 Worlds Fair that was held there. The Space Needle was a dream of Edward Carson who was on the Seattle Worlds Fair Commission. He got the idea when he dined at a restaurant in Stuttgart, Germany. The Space Needle tower is 605 feet tall and is an awesome site.
